John Donovan

John is a Managing Director at 541 Advisors, specializing in Sales and GTM executive search. He founded JM Donovan Partners (now part of 541 Advisors) in 2023, focusing on market-facing executive searches within the Financial and Technology sectors, and spent time at a high-end professional services-orietned search boutique prior.

Prior to his career in executive search, John was a Sales leader in Managed Services and Financial Services. Naturally personable, John takes pride in mentorship and enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others. Outside of the office, John enjoys golf, racquet sports, and competitive skeet & trap shooting at The Rockaway Hunting Club. He also loves downhill skiing and is an avid reader.
